Dr Cecily Rasmussen is an Environmental Geomorphologist who has dedicated the majority of her professional career to water quality and the processes of water, sediment and associated contaminant transportation on both spatial and temporal scales. Cecily has worked extensively in sensitive environments, including World Heritage Areas such as the coastline of the Wet Tropics Heritage Area, the islands of the Torres Strait, and the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area. In recent years she has devoted considerable time to understanding the complexities of Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems (GDEs) and the impact of climate change, aquifer recharge, and the overuse of groundwaters on the ecology of these fragile ecosystems.

Mr Ben Cuff has been involved in environmental sampling (water, soil, rock, and vegetation) for over 10 years. He has extensive field experience in a variety of situations ranging from South East Asia, to the wet tropics, and dry environments. Ben couples his field experience with high levels of computer literacy, statistical and GIS experience. He is integral to the operations of C&R Consulting by having the ability to pre-empt the requirements of others, and by intelligently compiling, analysing and presenting data and carrying out initial assessments and interpretations.

Dr Daniela Ceccarelli is an aquatic ecologist with her primary training in coral reef ecology. She has extensive training and experience as a field ecologist, primarily in tropical marine ecosystems ranging from oceanic coral reefs to estuaries and mangroves. Her training in underlying ecological patterns and processes has allowed her to develop a broader understanding of the connectivity between terrestrial, groundwater-dependent, freshwater, estuarine and marine ecosystems. She has a good understanding of environmental impact assessment and is able to provide sound advice on the management requirements of aquatic ecosystems. Daniela has been trained in a wide range of sampling techniques and statistical analysis methodologies. She can produce high-quality presentations for a wide range of audiences and written work for peer-reviewed scientific journals, technical reports for government and industry, and popular articles for the general public. She also has the ability to distil information from many sources into concise and clear reviews of current literature on a large number of subjects.

Mr Stephen Wegner is a Geologist specialising in mineralogy and geochemistry with significant field experience in weathered tropical terrains. Prior to teaching commitments with the School of Earth Sciences at James Cook University, Stephen worked with the Advanced Analytical Centre at James Cook University. In this role he operated a great variety of analytical instruments pertaining to various research projects including; gold mineralisation in drill chips; the identification of methane extraction potential in coal; ore beneficiation; engineering metallurgy; soil, sediment, rock and mineral chemical analysis; police forensic investigations; lead paint and asbestos identification; aquaculture studies; zoological and botanical studies. Stephen also has experience with microscope particle analysis and report writing on various oil based lubrication samples for 'Predictive Maintenance Programs' used by industry, mining and defence forces. Whilst working as a mine geologist at Phosphate Hill western Queensland, Stephen gained valuable hands on experience in understanding hydrogeological processes during a study of ore characterisation in lieu of beneficiation problems looking at grade and fracture controls within the ore. The phosphorite ore body itself being a large scale exposed aquifer system.

Ms Lyndall Harvey is an Environmental Scientist with over ten years experience in the environmental industry. She has been involved with many facets of environmental management in various capacities throughout her working life, specialising in wildlife management and more recently invasive species management. Lyndall commenced her professional career in the private sector where she held the position of Environmental Officer for a large ecotourism resort on South Stradbroke Island for several years. Her exposure to the Tourism and Hospitality industry during this time fostered a great interest and appreciation for fine communication and customer service skills. Lyndall recognises the essential role that effective communication, engagement and consultation skills have to play in achieving desired environmental management outcomes, in developing successful professional relationships and in the efficient running of day to day business operations.
